The 13th Annual US Invasion is Coming Soon!!


 August 1st & 2nd, 2009 in Corfu, NY

Reservations being taken NOW. Due to a number of “No Shows” and last minute cancellations in the past and after the success of the program last year – we ask participants to pre-pay again this year, mostly so we can give the caterer correct numbers for Food and order the correct sizes for T-shirts.

An RSVP Form is attached that asks: Number of participants, Type of Vehicle(s), T-shirt Size for each person, whether you plan on staying overnight and where, any special Food Restrictions, etc.

All Reservations must be received by July 17th

 

Event Name: 13th Annual LOCC US Invasion Weekend

Date: Saturday August 1st (with Camping available thru Sunday August 2nd)

Time: First Trail ride will begin at approximately 10:00 AM Saturday

Location: The Warren Farm, Route 5, Corfu, NY

Directions: Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 48A. After the Tollbooth, turn right onto Route 77 South. At the top of the hill (Traffic signal), turn left onto Route 5 East. We are the first house on the right - look for all the vehicles on the field.

* Early Bird Registration Cost: $30 Per Person for participants ($10 for Children age 12 & under) – includes a Custom-designed commemorative T-shirt, Family Barbecue, Soda, Coffee, Water, "primitive" camping on-site (Porta Potty will be available) prizes & Games.

Events to Include: Off-road "Trail Rides" on 300+ Acres of Privately-owned land (everything from Green Lanes to technical woods trails to Full-on Mud Whumpin'), Various Skills events, Catered Family Barbecue Dinner, Bonfire, Family-style camping

Things to Bring: Sunscreen, Bug Repellent

For off-roaders: Recovery gear (tow straps, winch, etc.), Mud boots, your off-road vehicle (any make or model will be accepted)

For Campers: Camping Gear (Tent or camper, sleeping bag, propane stove, etc.), any "Adult Beverages" you wish to consume at the Bonfire (After the driving is all done), Food for Breakfast on Sunday (we will provide Coffee, Tea & Donuts both mornings), extra clothes & boots (in case you get Muddy). Sorry, no campfires will be permitted in the Camping meadow.

Please Note: If you wish to arrive on Friday Afternoon / Evening to camp out for an early start, you can do this, but please let me know to expect you. You can also Camp out Saturday night. We do not allow alcoholic beverages during the day while the driving is going on, but you are welcome to BYOB if you are staying the night and come make merry with us around the bonfire.
